The Bulgarian Film Institute (BGFI) and the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The Chairman of BGFI Dr. Ivan Nachev and the Rector of UNWE Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov signed the Memorandum.
“The aim of the film institute was for established names in the industry to make a change, and this change must start with young people. They need to see that this industry is accessible to them and there are very strong links with the economy, tourism. We believe that we have the capacity to cover all priorities and give an expert opinion on issues related to the film industry, which students can benefit from” said Dr. Nachev, a graduate of UNWE and Deputy Director for Research at the Institute of Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer (IIPTT).
“Our goals and priorities are just that – working with organizations that can be useful to the university and students. When there is good communication, many new opportunities can open. If I have to transform this agreement in economic terms, then cinema is an investment, and we can cooperate with business models” said Prof. Dimitrov.
